Angers Autumn School 2026 BIOGEO-2D
9 novembre - 13 novembre 2026
We are pleased to invite you to the 2026 edition of the Angers Autumn School "BIOGEO-2D: When the sediment interface speaks in colors: revealing a 2D biogeochemical world".
This event is organised by students from the Biology, Ecology and Evolution (BEE) Masters program, specialising in Marine Environments, Anthropisation and Diagnosis (MAD) at the University of Angers, and researchers from the LPG. This year's programme is dedicated to exploring biogeochemical processes in sediments in two dimensions at the sub-millimetre scale using 2D DET gels (Diffusive Equilibrium in Thin film) coupled with colorimetric methods and hyperspectral imaging.
This training school is based on a program combining fieldwork, scientific presentations and practical workshops - download the flyer for more information. It will offer participants a unique opportunity to discover and experiment with cutting-edge methods in biogeochemistry with internationally recognised specialists.
